Haley & Aldrich, Inc.
Transportation projects are often in the public spotlight and working on them can feel like you’re under a microscope. Whether you’re repairing or building a bridge, retaining wall, roadway, or rail, keeping projects on schedule and under budget is imperative when public funds are being used to construct crucial arteries that impact people’s everyday life. Active involvement with multiple stakeholders and regulators across teams of contractors, engineers, and transportation officials can complicate an already difficult puzzle. Even smaller projects can quickly become complex and even risky. Haley & Aldrich’s geotechnical consultants and environmental professionals understand that while technical excellence is required to deliver a transportation project, that alone doesn’t guarantee the successful delivery of transportation projects. Clear, consistent, and responsive communication is also a major key to success. That’s why we work closely with the whole project team — designers, contractors, and owners — to identify and assess multiple, technically feasible solutions for each project challenge, including quantifying geotechnical design, environmental impacts, and construction risks. Our process promotes open and candid discussion between designers, contractors, and owners. As a result, we efficiently determine the most cost effective and constructible solution for each project.
Haley & Aldrich, Inc. is committed to delivering the value our clients need from their capital, operations, and environmental projects. Our one-team approach allows us to draw from our 700 engineers, scientists, and constructors in 30 offices for creative collaboration and expert perspectives. Since our founding in 1957, we have one goal in all we do: deliver long-term value efficiently, no matter how straightforward or complex the challenge. In 2020, Haley & Aldrich acquired Hart Crowser, an engineering and environmental consultancy with extensive expertise in the Pacific Northwest and recognized for its cutting-edge performance-based seismic design methods.
