Global-5 provides full-service public communications and involvement for infrastructure clients. We are the I-4 Ultimate public information prime contractor for FDOT District Five. Our award-winning work on this design-build public private partnership kept Central Floridians updated on progress on Florida's largest infrastructure project. We handled all aspects of public communication: website design and maintenance, monthly e-newsletter, homeowner outreach in advance of major construction impacts, coordination with local business and the regional chamber of commerce, regular presentations to civic organizations, and MOT-based advance construction alerts. We also represent FDOT District Five as the prime public communications contractor for I-4 Beyond the Ultimate, a collection of interchange and freeway projects across four counties comprising urban and rural areas. Our work includes the state's first hybrid (virtual and in-person) public hearing and subsequent hybrid public meetings. We use immersive 3D models to explain driver, bicyclist, and pedestrian movements through innovative interchanges, including roundabouts, diverging diamonds, and echelons. FDOT District One selected us as the public information firm for the IROX I-75 widening project in southwest Florida. IROX was the state's first-ever design-build-finance project. Global-5 has also provided public information services for Orange and Lake counties, and counts several transit agencies and MPOs among our clients.
